Access & Logging into CAT

Who Needs Access to CAT? 

CourseLeaf CAT is available to college employees who have been granted access based on their position responsibilities. Common users of CAT include: 

• Department subject matter experts (SMEs) creating or modifying catalog content 

• Systems Administrators 

• Catalog editors and approvers 

• Academic Affairs staff 

Accessing CAT 

1. To login to the editing environment for CAT, navigate to your Viking Portal. 

2. Along the top ribbon of the page, select Apps. 

3. Locate and select the CourseLeaf tile. 

4. Once you have reached the CourseLeaf Dashboard, locate and select the white tile on the top right of the dashboard titled: Catalog.

If you receive an Access Denied message, your account may not have been assigned the appropriate permissions. Contact curriculum@lbcc.edu to verify your access.
