Catalog Tree 

The Catalog Tree displays the structure of the College Catalog. 

From the Catalog Tree you can: 

  • Browse catalog sections 

  • Expand and collapse folders 

  • Locate specific pages 

  • Open pages for editing 

  • View the overall organization of the catalog 

The Catalog Tree mirrors the structure of the published catalog.

Content Editor 

When a page is opened, the Content Editor appears. 

The editor is where you: 

  • Modify page content 

  • Format text 

  • Add images 

  • Insert hyperlinks 

  • Upload documents 

  • Create tables 

  • Preview changes 

Changes are not visible to the public until they have completed the approval and publishing process.

Workflow 

Workflow manages the review and approval process for catalog changes. 

Depending on your role, you may be able to: 

  • Submit pages for review 

  • Review pending changes 

  • Approve or reject edits 

  • Return pages for revision 

  • Monitor the status of submitted content 

Workflow helps ensure that catalog information is reviewed before publication. 

Toolbar 

The toolbar provides quick access to common actions while editing a page. 

Common options include: 

  • Save 

  • Preview 

  • Submit 

  • Publish (if authorized) 

  • Cancel 

  • Page History 

The available options depend on your assigned permissions.

Notifications & Tasks 

Depending on your role, CAT may display assigned workflow tasks or pending approvals. 

Examples include: 

  • Pages awaiting review 

  • Content requiring revisions 

  • Pending approvals 

  • Publishing notifications 

Review your task list regularly to keep workflow moving efficiently.
