How to Live Stream a Zoom Meeting to YouTube

Pre Setup: Before you begin, you must first create a YouTube Channel in order to live stream from Zoom. For instructions on creating a YouTube Channel, please click this link: How to Create a YouTube Channel
Step 1: To begin live streaming in Zoom, YouTube requires users to enable a few specific settings in Zoom. Once enabled, additional options will appear only for the session host. Go to zoom.us and log into your account, then click on Settings.
Step 2: Under the Meeting tab, click the In Meeting (Advanced) button.
Step 3: Scroll down until you see the “Allow livestreaming of meetings” area. Make sure it is enabled, then also check mark the box for YouTube. Click Save.
Step 4: If step 1-3 were completed correctly, and you are the host of the Zoom session, you can navigate to your in-meeting Zoom interface menu. Click the More button located at the far right hand side.
Step 5: An additional menu will appear. Click Live on YouTube.
Step 6: After selecting Live on YouTube, your default web browser will open, and you will be prompted to log into your Google account associated with YouTube. Follow the given prompts. ***Note: You will need to verify your channel and request streaming access with YouTube before live streaming. This can take up to 24 hours. Please see Google Support for additional guidance.
Step 7: After the loading/sync process between Zoom and YouTube, you will now be live streaming to your YouTube channel. Please note, the best video setting and streaming quality on YouTube depend on your internet connection and service provider data plans.
Step 8: When the Zoom session is complete, navigate back to the Zoom meeting window, click on the More button again, and select Stop Live Steam.
