How to Setup Teams on Android Device

Step 1: On your Android device, navigate to your apps list and locate the Play Store. Touch Play Store icon to continue.
Step 2: Type in MS Teams into the search box, and it should populate some suggestions. Select MS Teams on the list by tapping on it.
Step 3: Tap on the Install button. Once installation is complete, the button label will change to Open. Tap on the Open button.
Step 4: Tap on the username field and input your LBCC employee ID@lbcc.edu (for example, 1234567@lbcc.edu) then tap Next.
Step 5: Tap on the password field, enter your Viking Portal password, and tap Sign in.
Step 6: On this screen, you can verify your identity using Face ID, a Biometric fingerprint sensor, a PIN, or a security key. You will also be able to generate a multifactor authentication (MFA) code to be sent to your mobile device via SMS or as a voice call.
Step 7: If attempting to generate a MFA code via SMS, a code will be sent to your mobile device. Tap on the passcode field and input the 6-digit number sent then tap Verify.
Step 8: You should now be able to use Microsoft Teams on your Android device.
