Connecting USB Passkey for One Time Passcodes

Step 1: Sign into the Viking Portal. If you need assistance, please contact the Student Technology Help Desk .
Step 2: On left side of the portal, click on My Account. Select Security Info.
Step 3: Click on +Add Sign-In Method. Choose Security Key from the Pop-up window.
Step 4: Click on USB device. Have your USB key ready and click Next.
Step 5: Follow the instructions and insert the USB token. A pop-up will ask you to create a 4-digit PIN. Once you have entered the PIN twice, click OK.
Step 6: Touch the silver circle on the USB key. Name your key and click Next. Once you get the pop-up that says “You’re all set!” you can use the USB key to log in.
Step 7: Check that the USB key is listed as a sign in method.
Step 8: Try logging into the Viking Portal to verify the USB key works. Click Security Key. Enter the PIN you set and click OK.
