Using Launch LBCC
Launch LBCC is the centralized point-of-contact for technology assistance.

Step 1: Type launch.lbcc.edu into your Internet browser or click on the link. ***Note, the ITS Help Desk tile in the Viking Portal will also take you to the home page of the ticketing system.
Step 2: Select the option “Open a Ticket” or click on the Launch LBCC button. ***Note: Another way to open a ticket is to send an email to launchit@lbcc.edu. Please provide as much information in the body of the email and a ticket will be automatically created when you send it.
Step 3: Click on Services and choose the category that best aligns with the intended service you are seeking. If you are not sure, please reach out to us to assist.
Step 4: Next you will choose the service you need under the category you chose.Once you click on that service, click on the request Service button on the right.
Step 5: At this point you will need to log into the Viking Portal using your LBCC ID number and password, if you are not already logged into the Viking Portal.
Step 6: Please fill out the form with the requested information, then click submit. Asterisks indicate a required area to fill out. Note: The “Show Help” button in the top right of the form will unveil useful tips.
Step 7: Congratulations, your ticket is now submitted. Please note, you will receive a confirmation email that your ticket has been submitted from "Launch Outbound"
