How to Connect to LBCC Secure Wi-Fi Using an iPhone

Step 1: Open your device's Settings app, then Tap Wi-Fi (make sure Wi-Fi is turned on).
Step 2: Once you have opened your device’s Settings app, tap on Wi-Fi.
Step 3: Once you have tapped on Wi-Fi, you will be given a list of available networks. LBCC has two primary networks available: LBCCand LBCC Secure. Select LBCC Secure. LBCC Secure is limited to LBCC employees and requires credentials to connect.
Step 4: Once you have tapped on LBCC Secure, you will be prompted to enter your credentials. In Username, enter your LBCC employee ID. For Password, enter your 16-character Viking Portal password. (Please note,you may need to update your password if your password does not meet the 16-character requirement).
Step 5: After entering your Employee ID and Password, you will be prompted to trust the Wi-Fi certificate. Tap Trust. Note: You may get a note that the certificate is not trusted. This is due to Apple not recognizing our private connection server; however, it is safe to connect. LBCC takes cyber security and your online protection seriously.
Step 6: After trusting the connection, give the device a few moments to connect. Once finished, you will see a check mark next LBCC Secure to confirm you are now connected.
