Onboarding New Employee

Description

Request workstation and system access for a new employee.   

  • Note: For most employees, access to the Viking Portal, LBCC email, and the network is automatic and no request is necessary.  For instructional faculty, access to the Viking Student System is also automatic and no request is necessary.


Common request reasons:

  • I have hired a new classified staff or manager who needs access to PeopleSoft systems
  • A new faculty member needs to be issued a laptop

How to Request:

Click Request Service button. Note: For changes to TARS or PS Financials, you may need to attach a signed a form for approved department codes.
